'Silence' of Princess Beatrice’s husband on wedding anniversary raises eyebrows

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's sixth wedding anniversary went by silently, with the couple not marking it on social media.

Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, tied the knot with Mapelli Mozzi on July 17, 2020, at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

King Charles III expelled Beatrice’s father from the Windsor Lodge over his links to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

It’s not known whether the scandal involving Beatrice’s father has in any way affected her relationship with her husband, but Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s social media silence on their wedding anniversary has tongues wagging about the current status of their marriage.

According to GB News, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi not sharing a public post on social media on his sixth wedding anniversary marked a huge break in tradition.

The outlet reported, the property developer frequently uses his personal Instagram account, which boasts 174,000 followers, to celebrate his marriage.

Citing examples from the past, GB news wrote, Mapelli Mozzi marked their wedding last year writing, "Happy 5th Anniversary to my incredible partner, the most beautiful and amazing wife. I cherish every moment we’ve spent together and am deeply grateful for our journey.

"Here’s to countless more years filled with laughter and tons of love!"

In 2024, he shared previously unseen photographs from their wedding day alongside a caption reading: "Happy 4th wedding anniversary my love. Every day is so special with you. I love you so much."

The most recent public update on his personal Instagram account was shared on May 8.
