King Charles assigned Queen Camilla major role in meeting with Prince Harry, Meghan
"Why Camilla would have wanted to support King Charles"
Queen Camilla was present during King Charles meeting with Prince Harry and his family last week on the orders of the monarch.
The King assigned a major role to Camilla for his meeting with Harry, Meghan and their children Archie and Lilibet.
This has been claimed by royal expert Richard Kay while speaking to Richard Eden on Palace Confidential.
He said that Camilla would have been there on King Charles ‘orders', playing the role of 'referee' between him and Harry.
The expert said, “You can understand why Camilla would have wanted to support Charles. I don't know whether she actually wanted to meet Harry and Meghan, with all the water that's gone under the bridge.
“She's got a very good reason not to want to spend any time in the same room as him. However, she is an important referee… if Harry had tried to persuade his father to do something he was reluctant to, she would have wanted to make sure she was a witness to it all.'
Another royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed that Camilla wants peace because she loves Charles.
“She’s watched this family fracture in public, and if there’s a chance to heal it, she’ll stand behind her husband,” the insiders told the expert, adding “But forgiveness doesn’t erase memory, and she hasn’t forgotten what Harry has said and done.”
