King Charles, Prince Harry issued warning regarding reconciliation after William kept in dark about secret meeting
Prince William wants nothing to do with his brother Prince Harry or be burdened with the "Sussex drama"
A royal expert has shared a warning for King Charles and Prince Harry regarding their efforts of reconciliation without informing heir to throne Prince William.
Speaking to the Fox News Digital, royal expert Helena Chard said King Charles dealings with Meghan and Harry are “personal family negotiations”, adding this is not institutionally or monarchy-led.
She went on saying this is about the monarch’s personal relationship with his son and grandchildren.
“He makes his own call on family,” Helena said. “However, Prince William will not be enamored with the private meeting. He wants nothing to do with his brother or be burdened with the Sussex drama, a drama that he no doubt will have to manage one day as monarch."
Chard went on saying keeping the Prince of Wales in dark about the meeting could cause more harm than good for any peace talks between King Charles and Prince Harry.
She warned many say reconciliation without William in the room is not family reconciliation.
"Without a full family council, a true family reconciliation may just fizzle out. The optics don't look good for a united family front,” Helena said.
“Trust is already thin, and if William is kept in the dark as Charles takes steps to maintain private family moments with the Sussexes, any future healing may become more difficult," the royal expert continues to warn.
