Steve Harvey pays a touching tribute to his father-in-law after his death
Steve Harvey is mourning the death of his father-in-law, James Bridges Sr.
The comedian took to his Instagram handle to pay a touching tribute to his father-in-law, who passed away on June 1.
"Yesterday we buried one of the best men I’ve ever met, James Bridges Sr., Marjorie’s father," Steve penned alongside a photo of his father-in-law. "But to me, Pop Bridges."
The Family Feud host also expressed his gratitude toward James for being an "example of faith, fatherhood, and family."
As he shared the tribute, Steve's friends and fans rushed to the comment section to offer their prayers and condolences.
"Oh, I’m so sorry to hear this. Such a beautiful man sending our condolences to you and your family," 21 Jump Street alum Holly Robinson Peete penned.
"God bless you [a]nd your family my friend," commented Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley.
Meanwhile, one fan expressed grief over the heartbreaking loss.
“So sorry, Steve, I’m praying for you and your beautiful family,” one person wrote.
“Sending prayers and condolences to you and Marjorie both and family," commented another one.
