Israel launches fresh strikes on Iran as explosions rock Tehran, Isfahan and Tabriz
The Israeli military said it had 'attacked military targets' in multiple areas of Iran early Monday
Israel said it launched attacks on military targets in western and central Iran as tensions between the two countries continued to escalate.
The Israeli military said it had “attacked military targets” in multiple areas of Iran early Monday.
Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported that “multiple explosions heard in Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan” following the strikes.
The reported attacks come after Iran launched missiles towards Israel in response to Israeli strikes on Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The latest exchange has heightened fears of a wider regional conflict involving Iran, Israel and armed groups across the Middle East.
Israel has warned it will intensify military operations in Lebanon following recent cross-border attacks, while Iranian officials have threatened further retaliation if Israeli strikes continue.
