Katy Perry melts hearts with powerful message for daughter Daisy

Katy Perry is taking a moment to share some touching words for her daughter, Daisy Bloom.

​The popstar, who welcomed her daughter with ex fiance Orlando Bloom, took to her Instagram account on Thursday and reposted a heartfelt note as Mother's Day nears.

​The thoughtful note read, "My dream isn't for my daughter to make me proud. It's for her to make herself proud in rooms I've been in, doing things I've never dared to try, with a voice that never questions her worth."

​Daisy was born on August 26, 2020, after Katy and Orlando began dating in 2016. The pair briefly split in 2017 but reconciled in 2019 and got engaged the same year.

​The couple had parted ways amicably back in June 2025.

​Katy is currently dating former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau.

​The Dark Horse singer previously opened up about her motherhood journey, calling it a "game changer."

​"It's just the best in the world. It's the game-changer," she told People back in 2021. "My heart is so full, finally."

​While she said in an interview with Today, "When you have a child, you have someone who looks at you and doesn’t know anything on your resume, doesn’t know anything about your bank account, doesn’t know anything, doesn’t care, and just loves you. Unconditional love. It’s just ... everything I think I was looking for.
