Louis Tomlinson cuts ties with Zayn Malik online
One Direction drama explodes: Louis Tomlinson unfollows Zayn Malik
One Direction star Louis Tomlinson made a shocking move online against his bandmate Zayn Malik.
On April 18, Tomlinson appeared to have unfollows Malik on Instagram, sparking speculations about a potential fallout.
While the singer still follows other former bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan and the late Liam Payne, he removed Malik amid reports of behind-the-scenes tension.
This comes amid reports of behind-the-scenes tension during filming an upcoming Netflix docuseries featuring Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.
It is pertinent to mention that The Sun reported that physical alteration between the duo also took place behind the docu-series.
First announced in 2025, the project is set to follow the pair "on a road trip across America in a spontaneous adventure of reconnection," documenting their journey of reconnection years after Malik's departure from the group in 2015.
Furthermore, fans can expect the duo "opening up about life, love, loss and fatherhood."
Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik were bandmates until the Pillow Talk singer's departure in 2015.
Later, the duo also got into a heated exchange on X (Formerly Twitter), but appeared to have rekindled their friendship at the time of the docuseries announcement.
Moreover, Tomlinson and Malik also reunited at Liam Payne's funeral, alongside Harry Styles and Niall Horan.
