Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz 'having real discussion' about their Hollywood comeback?
Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez are planning 'something way bigger' for their return to the big screen
It is being reported that Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz have teamed up to mark their successful return to Hollywood.
Radar Online reported that the 56-year-old American singer and songwriter and the 53-year-old American actress, who have been friends for years, are looking for ways to rule Hollywood again.
An insider told the outlet that both stars are working on a high-profile joint project in order to revive their lost spot in the world of entertainment.
The source revealed, "J.Lo has a special relationship with Diaz going back to the '90s. Now they're having real discussions about making something else together after the unexpectedly positive experience they had on What to Expect When You're Expecting more than 10 years ago."
After working together in the 2012 rom-com, Lopez and Diaz have been friends ever since and are mapping out to create something similar to the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show, as it stars great friends Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston.
The insider stated, "Why can't they be the next Jennifer and Reese? They both have mastered the streaming space, but teaming up is a force multiplier that fulfills a promise they made to audiences in the '90s when they both broke out right at the same time. They see it as a duty, to their fans and to themselves.”
"Cam and Jen are looking for scripts to star in together, and they know they can do something way bigger than Expecting, which made money but is hardly a classic.”
"Plus, they just work great together onscreen and everybody wants to see more of them together,” the source noted.
