Prince Harry set eyes on King Charles approval: 'special Christmas invite'

Prince Harry is reportedly quite hopeful about being included in a special royal gathering after officially beginning peace talks with King Charles.

In September, the Duke of Sussex met his father at Clarence House, which was their first face-to-face conversation after their aides' peace summit.

Now, Closer Magazine claimed that Harry set eyes on the royal Christmas invite as several members of the royal family were forced to step back.

The Yorks, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson are prohibited from being part of royal activities. Also, their daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice, are in doubt due to their parents' controversies.

Amid the royal family drama, "Harry is on tenterhooks waiting to get the go-ahead to visit King Charles in England at Christmas and is adamant that he needs to be with his father any chance he gets," an insider said.

"Truth is, he’s terribly homesick and finding Hollywood a very lonely and foreign place to be right now, and he’d love to see his family and catch up with some of his old friends, too," the source claimed.

Not only that, Prince Harry seemingly expressed a desire to extend his UK trip in order to accelerate the reconciliation efforts.

But Harry's emotional pleas appear to be unheard by his wife, Meghan Markle, as the Sussexes are still unsure about the plan of the royals.

"That alone is very stressful because Meghan is a planner, she has a full schedule and she needs to lock things in sometimes months in advance, she can’t just drop everything to fly over to the UK with Harry – to her that would upend everything," the source added.

Prince Harry is expected to receive support from his better half, especially for their children, Archie and Lilibet, who are unaware of their royal roots and traditions.

Notably, an insider revealed that Harry understands Meghan's reluctance to attend but wishes she would find it in her heart to support him.

The Duke still hopes she will accompany him to the UK, if only so that Archie and Lili can meet their grandpa, the report stated.
