Dua Lipa gives special shout-out to close pal: 'My sister'

Dua Lipa is in full-on bestie mode when she’s off the stage.

The Radical Optimism superstar served her infectious smile and energy to her longtime pal Ella Jenkins to make the latter’s special day more memorable.

The Levitating hitmaker and Jenkins, who leads online workout classes that the Albanian pop star attends, have been close friends for years.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Thursday, November 6, Lipa, who is engaged to Masters of the Air star Callum Turner, celebrated the fitness instructor’s birthday with a fresh photo of themselves and a short n’ sweet shout-out.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTER," she wrote, highlighting the depth of their bond. "@ellajenkin I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH," the Physical singer added, proving she is not only ruling the stage but also her friends’ hearts.

The photo shared by the 30-year-old was a screenshot from their FaceTime call, seemingly taken while both were on the move, as they appeared to be sitting in cars.

The model-turned-singer’s excited face could be seen in the minimised window, wired in with white earphones, while the larger screen captured the Jenkin beaming brightly from ear to ear.

The birthday girl was donning a black top paired with a matching baseball cap and sunglasses.

Keeping her look minimal, she accessorised with small gold stud earrings. 

They both appeared in high spirits as Jenkin enjoyed the video call with the three-time Grammy winner while being seated in the passenger seat and safely buckled in.

For the unversed, the two often appear in each other’s social media posts. Earlier this year, Jenkin shared photos of them having a "date night" in Chile. They have also been seen enjoying other activities, and girls' night in.
