Apple set to debut iPhone 17 Pro Max and new air models at September event
Apple’s ‘Awe Dropping’ event is Scheduled for September 9, 2025
The wait for iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max is finally over as Apple’s highly anticipated “Awe Dropping” event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The event will be streamed live from Apple’s Cupertino headquarters and will introduce a major iPhone redesign since 2017.
It is expected that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have Apple new A19 Pro chip, increased 12GB of RAM and a triple-camera system with a 48-megapixel telephoto lens that can achieve 8x optical zoom. An extended 5,000mAh battery and a new vapour chamber cooling system are also expected to be in the Pro Max version.
Although AI has been a centerpiece of rivalry among competitors such as Samsung and Google, Apple is expected to focus on hardware in this cycle.
The announcement is expected to be followed by the release date of the iPhone 17 Pro Max in late September.
There are chances of price surge and rumours have indicated that it is going to cost more than any previous versions with starting price at $1,199.
It can also be expected that the event will feature a new ultra-thin iPhone Air, redesigned Apple Watches, and the AirPods Pro 3.
For consumers interested in knowing when the new Pro Max model will be released, the official release date and pre-order will be announced at the live stream on the Apple site and TV application.
