Charlie Puth strikes major deal in new career move
'Attention' hitmaker Charlie Puth begins a new era of growth by singing his latest deal
Charlie Puth has begun a new chapter by signing a significant deal as part of a major career move.
United Talent Agency has signed the four time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and record producer for global representation in all areas.
On Wednesday, September 3, the company announced the news with UTA partner and co-head of talent Jay Gassner, saying, "His incredible talent as a storyteller and creator opens the door to new opportunities."
"We’re excited to bring them to life,” he said in a statement, referring to Puth's passion for music making.
The 33-year-old musician has amassed over 35 billion global streams and nine multi-platinum singles, including Attention, We Don’t Talk Anymore, See You Again, Light Switch and Left and Right, featuring Jung Kook of BTS.
"Charlie is a global star and a remarkable live performer," said UTA partners and co-heads of global music David Zedeck and Sam Kirby Yoh. "As he steps into a new chapter in his career, we look forward to championing his growth on the world stage."
Moreover, See You Again, released in 2015, which featured Puth alongside Wiz Khalifa as part of the Furious 7 soundtrack, not only landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, but it stayed there for 12 weeks.
In addition to his illustrious singing resume, the New Jersey-born artist also co-wrote and co-produced Stay by The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber.
Puth, who celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Brooke Sansone just last month, released his latest track, Hero, in May 2024.
