Scooter Braun gets candid about his 'friendship' with Kanye West: 'Don't know'
Scooter Braun shares most disheartening thing about his friendship with Kanye West and his priorities
Scooter Braun has spoken candidly about the state of his friendship with Kanye West.
In a recent interview on the podcast Question Everything, Braun shared his thoughts on the rapper's recent antisemitic social media posts and how they have affected their relationship. "I don't know him anymore," Braun said, expressing his concern and disappointment.
Braun reflected on the challenges of maintaining a relationship with someone who has undergone a significant change. "Sometimes the hardest thing to do with someone you care about is mourn them while they're still here," he said.
"The person that I knew is not the person that I'm seeing, so I don't have a relationship anymore." Braun's words convey a sense of loss and sadness, as he grapples with the reality of his friendship with West.
When asked if West could potentially be redeemed and return to the person Braun had known, he reiterated that he didn't know West anymore and shifted his focus to his family.
"I have three beautiful kids that need a dad to focus on them and make sure they're prepared and strong in this world. That's going to be my focus," Braun said. His priorities are clear, and he is committed to being a devoted father to his children.
Braun's comments come amid West's recent controversies, including his antisemitic social media posts. While he doesn't specify the exact reasons for the change in their relationship, it's clear that he is struggling to come to terms with the person West has become.
