Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lawrence make red carpet debut after welcoming babies with respective partners
Jennifer Lawrence made her Cannes return worthwhile, basking in its glory with Die, My Love costar Robert Pattinson during their new movie’s premiere at the 2025 film festival.
On Saturday, May 17, Lawrence, 23, and the Twilight star shared a proud moment when their new thriller film earned massive applause during its debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival.
Reportedly, they soak up a nine-minute-long standing ovation. In a video Deadline shared on X (formerly Twitter), Pattinson, 39, and The Hunger Games star were seen hugging director Lynne Ramsay.
The leading duo also shared a warm embrace with Die, My Love co-stars LaKeith Stanfield and Sissy Spacek.
Making its debut at the annual film event in France, the movie is an adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel about a new mother who develops postpartum depression and enters psychosis.
Interestingly, walking the 2025 Cannes red carpet marked Lawrence's debut on the red carpet after giving birth to her second child.
Meanwhile, the Die, My Love Cannes premiere was Pattinson's first major red carpet event since the arrival of his baby daughter with Suki Waterhouse.
