Kelly Clarkson is in a dilemma to leave her talk show as her contract will expire next year.
A source spilled to Life & Style magazine, “She’s at a crossroads — she’s torn because everyone is telling her she’d be crazy to step away from huge success.”
“But missing time with her children weighs heavily on her,” said an insider.
Earlier, Kelly told Kylie Kelce that she “feels guilty when she can’t attend school events for daughter and son, but also wants to teach her kids that ‘Mommy does work, and that is OK’”.
The source pointed out that Kelly “will continue to do that”.
“What she’ll do when the actual contract is up seems to be the million-dollar question,” remarked an insider.
Page Six reported that the American Idol alum wanted to quit her daytime talk show when her contract with NBC expired next year.
Multiple sources told the outlet, “Kelly’s No. 1 priority is her children and they always will be.”
“The show is grueling. It’s a whole lot of work and I hear that Kelly would like to spend more time down South,” said a source while speaking to Page Six.
Meanwhile, Kelly talked about her children on the 1,000th episode of her show.
“On a personal level I think the most meaningful change for me at least is my own family,” she mentioned.
Kelly added, “Over the years I’ve had my kiddos onstage with me and they’ve always blown me away. So, this is a look back on those memories.”
