Inside Neil Patrick Harris' Christmas Eve: Food, family, dances, and laughter
Neil Patrick Harris had a joyful Christmas with his partner David Burtka and their 14-year-old twins
Neil Patrick Harris’ Christmas was nothing short of a family affair, filled with love, laughter, and lamb chops.
The How I Met Your Mother star, 51, celebrated the holiday alongside his husband, David Burtka, 49, and their 14-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon, sharing a glimpse of their festivities on Instagram.
The family kicked things off with a mouthwatering Christmas Eve dinner, featuring lamb chops, crabs, Brussels sprouts, and more.
“This is Christmas Eve dinner,” Harris narrated in a video, proudly showcasing their culinary spread. Burtka chimed in, “We made this together,” to which Harris playfully added, “Teamwork makes the dream work.”
When Gideon noted that there were only four of them, NPH joked, “And 15 lamb chops, so better get eating!”
The night wasn’t all about the food. Harper stole the show with her impromptu dance while serving crème brûlée, leaving her parents and brother in fits of laughter. “Any time we have crème brûlée, you’re going to have to do this,” Gideon teased.
Christmas Day brought matching red pajamas, cosy moments with their dogs, and Santa hats galore. “It’s the Dog Days of Christmas here at Funhouse Farm,” Harris captioned a festive post, complete with heartwarming snapshots of the family by the fireplace.
In another post, the family of four sat down in front of the camera to wish everyone a Merry Christmas with their trademark humour.
Sitting in front of the Christmas tree along with their dogs, all of the Burtka-Harrises simultaneously burst into their respective wishes, talking over each other.
"Merry Christmas, everyone!" they all declared.
