Lily-Rose Depp sends shivers down in netted dress at Nosferatu Q&A
Lily-Rose Depp haunts in 'Nosferatu' remake
Lily-Rose Depp turned heads at a Nosferatu Q&A session in New York City on Sunday, joining her costar Bill Skarsgård to discuss their highly anticipated horror thriller.
The 25-year-old actress captivated the audience at the BAFTA screening held at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater, offering insights into the making of the Transylvanian thriller, which is set to premiere on Christmas Day.
Depp, who recently showed off her romantic side with partner 070 Shake at the Los Angeles premiere afterparty, looked effortlessly glamorous in a chic, cream-colored minidress.
Just days after dazzling in a shimmering silver gown at the film's premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre, the Idol alum is taking Hollywood by storm with her performance in this chilling remake of the 1922 silent classic, loosely inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula.
In Nosferatu, Depp plays Ellen Hutter, the object of the sinister obsession of Count Orlok, portrayed by Bill Skarsgård.
Early buzz has been overwhelmingly positive, with critics calling the film "hypnotic," "devilish," and even dubbing it "the scariest movie since The Shining."
The movie, directed by Robert Eggers, has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Depp's performance described as nothing short of a revelation.
The star-studded cast also includes Nicholas Hoult as Ellen’s husband, Thomas Hutter, Willem Dafoe as a vampire hunter, and Emma Corrin as Anna Harding, the wife of Thomas’s friend Friedrich, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
While the entire film is receiving accolades, it’s Lily-Rose Depp’s standout portrayal that is drawing the most attention. The Hollywood Reporter has even proclaimed that Nosferatu belongs to her.
