Apple partners with OpenAI to integrate Siri with ChatGPT in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia
Apple, in its much-awaited Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday, unveiled a series of features such as more ways to customise the home screen and updates to the message app, amongst other things.
According to Apple, some of the features will be made available for users at the end of this year while others will roll out over the course of next year, C Net reported.
New software update, the iOS 18 will let users customize home screen apps and their layout, as well as phones lock screen functions.
iOS 18 will let you rearrange apps and widgets on your home screen. It will also let you customize the appearance of your apps icons such as turn into a dark mode filter or change its colour.
In addition to customization, iPhone’s messaging app is also getting an update with iOS 18.
The update lets you schedule messages to send later, and provides more Tapbacks.
Furthermore, it also gives you more text effect such as if you want to emphasize something in a text, you can bold it, underline or use any other effects.
Besides, these features, Apple also announced a partnership with OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT with Siri.
