Jake Paul finds new opponent after Mike Tyson fight fiasco
'Let's run it for July 20th, and then Paul Tyson in October/November,' says Jake Paul
Deeply disappointed by the postponement of his fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson, American YouTuber and actor Jake Paul is looking for someone to jump in the ring with.
Tyson's fight with Paul was originally scheduled for July 20, but it was pushed back to avoid too much disruption to his pre-fight training when he fell ill, Unilad reported.
According to Netflix, Tyson's health concern has "limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks," so their summertime feud has been halted.
The fight is still expected to take place at some point, with the end of 2024 appearing to be a more plausible date at this stage.
Logan Paul has stated that he would be open to competing in the ring alongside his brother in place of Tyson, but it is more probable that the match will never happen.
Instead, Jake took to social media to propose that he and KSI fight.
He wrote, "KSI's coach is saying he is over 200 pounds right now?. So no weight excuses. Let's run it for July 20th, and then Paul Tyson in October/November."
In response, KSI stated that he already had a battle scheduled for August and hence couldn't fight Paul in July.
