WhatsApp reveals 'explore new channels' feature
Meta app steps up to enhance user experience
WhatsApp has revealed a new and enhanced version of the channel list feature, which lets users to quickly explore or find new WhatsApp channels easily.
This update aims at making the Updates tab more built-in and convenient to use, according to WABetaInfo.
The Channels tab was released last year, and several famous celebrities and social media stars have since used this feature to send photo, text or video updates to their followers.
At the bottom of the app, channels can be found in the Updates tab on WhatsApp. From there, users can find the Status and channels they choose to follow. Moreover, this section is separate from users’ chats or calls with your family, friends, or colleagues.
A screenshot of this new feature showing a new “Explore” button, that makes it possible to follow more channels and view existing ones, was also shared by the site. Users can also search for new channels easily through this tab.
