Elon Musk getting rid of THIS Tesla complaint with FSD (Supervised) release
Tesla's FSD (Supervised) expected to be released before end of May
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has hinted that the company may finally be getting rid of arguably the most complained-about feature in the upcoming Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Beta tentatively set for release next week.
Musk, 52, has given a nod to the end of the dreaded steering wheel nag in FSD version 12.4, which is expected to be released before the end of this month, Teslarati reported.
Tesla's steering wheel nag prompts drivers to apply pressure on the steering wheels when driver assistance features like autopilot or FSD are enabled.
However, Tesla drivers often complain about the feature as it requires drivers to literally nag or touch the steering wheel to ensure they are still paying attention.
The tech billionaire revealed that Tesla is potentially set to roll out an adjusted version of the steering wheel nag in the next version in response to a complaint on X, formerly Twitter.
Musk wrote: "Fixed in 12.4."
While his answer, according to Teslarati, "leaves any possibility up to the imagination," it indicates that the steering wheel nag will no longer alert drivers who are paying attention.
The steering wheel nag may alert drivers who aren't paying attention with the help of the cabin-facing camera.
