WhatsApp is all set to roll out a revamped interface for its iOS app, the same one that was earlier introduced for Android users, WABetaInfo reported.
The feature which is still under development was spotted by the WhatsApp updates tracker as the social media platform submitted a new update through the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version up to 24.8.10.71.
In the image provided by WABetaInfo, it can be seen that the instant messaging platform is revamping the interface for the status updates tray, which will be available to iPhone users in the near future.
“The tray remains positioned at the top of the updates tab, ensuring its immediate accessibility and visibility upon opening this section. It is important to note that this updated interface will now offer users the ability to preview the initial shared status update via a thumbnail, eliminating the necessity to open each update separately.”
WABetaInfo believes that this update will significantly enhance user experience. It mentioned that several users had demanded the feature.
