MrBeast earns $1 million from X leaving Elon Musk ecstatic
MrBeast will use money earned by ad revenue for content creation
YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson Aka Mr Beast earns massive $1 million after posting five old videos on social networking website X owned by Elon Musk, as an experiment, Hindustan Times reported.
He shared the amazing news on his official X account, with the caption, "posting videos on X has been awesome so far."
This attracted the attention from Musk himself who commented, "cool" underneath his post.
MrBeast revealed he had generated the money through ad revenue from his content, which he plans to allocate towards future content creation.
He wrote: "So far it's been around a million in ad revenue. I'm just adding it to my video budgets so now I can spend more on content lol."
Since acquiring X, formerly Twitter, Musk had been urging Mr beast to post videos on X.
He finally did, posting his first video, titled, $1 car vs $100,000,000 car on X which ended up garnering over 177 million views.
After that he posted another four videos which combined received a viewership of over 753 million.
Earlier in March, Mr Beast announced that he is working with Amazon prime video to host a new reality competition series called Beast Games.
