‘Shadowhunters’ stars reunite for upcoming movie ‘Firework’
Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood and Matthew Daddario team up together for exciting new project
Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood and Matthew Daddario are reuniting once more for another mission as they tease a new project.
The Shadowhunters alums took to Instagram on Sunday to tease an upcoming project that has been created by Daddario.
In the photo shared, the trio could be seen with a script held up to their faces. It read “Firework by Matthew Daddario” and it was followed by “Almost based on a true story.”
In the caption, it read, “Something fire is in the works… #FIREWORKMOVIE”
While there is no further information given on the upcoming project, it appears that the beloved on-screen couple Jace and Clary will be returning and that too on the big screen.
Moreover, it is also unclear if the new project will be a spin-off of the show or a completely unrelated body of work.
Based on the best-selling books, The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare, Shadowhunters ran for three seasons from 2016 to 2019.
In the show, McNamara starred as Clary Fray, Sherwood as Jace Wayland and Daddario as Alec Lightwood.
Following the end of the series, the cast has stayed in contact as they often appear together on each other’s social media.
The core cast for Shadowhunters also included Alberto Rosende, Emeraude Toubia, Isaiah Mustafa, Harry Shum Jr. and Alisha Wainwright.
