Valentine's Day 2024: Here's how to use special Instagram features celebrating love
Instagram has introduced two special Valentine's Day features for users to send to their loved ones
This Valentine's Day, love is in the air, and Instagram is letting users in on some special treats by introducing two unique, time-limited features that have been added to the platform to liven up your DMs and Stories.
Firstly, there is a new animation for Instagram Notes called "exploding heart." Simply write a note containing a supported keyword or emoji to have access to it. "Happy Valentine's Day", "Happy Vday", "Vday," and more keywords are among them, according to Indian Express.
For an added festive touch, a flutter of hearts will animate in your DM inbox when you publish the Note or tap on one from a friend.
To give it a shot:
1. Open Instagram, then click the DMs button.
2. Press the bubble in the upper-left corner to start a new note.
2. Type a sentiment for Valentine's Day that includes relevant keywords or emojis.
4. Share it.
A second new feature makes Instagram Stories more lively. Floating hearts now show when you @mention another account.
To gain access to:
1. Record or add media to your Instagram Story.
2. Select the @mention sticker by tapping the sticker icon.
3. @mention your 'Valentine'.
4. Share your story and observe the hearts materialise.
Try them out while you can because these two Instagram Valentine's Day features are only available till February 15th.
