Sana Khan introduces her 'Jr' Tariq Jameel to ‘senior’ Maulana Tariq Jamil

Pakistani religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel had an interesting meeting with the "Jr" Tariq Jameel, the baby boy of former Bollywood actor Sana Khan as they all gathered in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

The video of Khan introducing her son, who she named after the preacher, was shared on her official Instagram account.

Maulana Tariq Jameel was seen receiving a present from Khan's husband Mufti Anas, then playing with the child — who at one point caught his beard — and later on, interacting with the couple.

Showering praise upon the maulana, the ex-Bollywood actor said that she deeply respected him for his spirituality.

“Love and Respect from bottom of our hearts for this beautiful soul @tariqjamilofficial,” Khan said in the Instagram post. “Jr Tariq Jamil meeting Senior Hazrat Maulana Tariq Jamil Saab,” she described her son’s meeting with the religious preacher.

Khan said that whenever she sees Jamil, she remembers God, terming the maulana a “man of beauty inside out”. She added that the cleric was a source for her coming closer to the religion of Islam.

“May Allah always protect him and give him good health,” she prayed.

Concluding her post, Khan said Jamil called her "beti (daughter)” and gave her “sabr (patience)” through his words of wisdom.

“People can try to break you and target you for their mafad (interests) but we have to be strong and this is a test from Allah,” she added.

In October 2020, "Bigg Boss" famed Khan announced that she had decided to quit the entertainment industry to “serve humanity and follow the order of my Creator”. She, a month later in November, tied the knot with Mufti Anas in a private ceremony.

Jamil had, in an interview, also revealed that the former actor had named her son after him with his permission.
