Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput, recently recalled a “filmy” incident that took place soon after her engagement to the Bollywood actor.
Mira, 30, who tied knot with the Deva actor in 2015, shared a memorable moment from their arranged marriage.
In an exclusive interview on the podcast Moment of Silence, Mira explained how things changed after Shahid publicly announced their relationship.
She revealed that the very next day, after their relationship became public, her friends called to inform her that a group of reporters had gathered outside her college gate.
Later in the interview with Naina Bhan and Sakshi Shivdasani, Mira also opened up about the early days of her marriage, calling it “isolating”.
She recalled, “I’d like to admit that it was quite isolating because we were just in different phases of life at that time. You get to different phases in life, and you look at your friends… I wish I could what she’s doing. I even remember, I couldn’t speak to them as often as I used to. They were like, ‘Just because you got married doesn’t mean you forget us!’ And I was like, ‘Guys, I’m genuinely caught up!’”
For the unversed, The Kabir Singh star and Mira are parents to daughter Misha and son Zain.
On the professional front, Shahid, 44, is currently gearing up for his upcoming project, Farzi 2.
