After years of on-pitch domination against competitors, Cristiano Ronaldo has once again achieved an astonishing landmark as the star footballer further etched his name into history as a museum ("CR7 Museum") — centering around him — was inaugurated in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, who currently wears Al Nassr's jersey, took to social media to share glimpses of him visiting the one-of-a-kind facility in the Kingdom's capital.
The museum features Ronaldo's memorabilia including match-worn jerseys, shoes and awards which showcase his journey from from his earliest appearance on the football pitch to the landmark achievements he has bagged along the way, reported marca.com.
"This is My Story. From Madeira to Saudi Arabia my CR7 Signature Museum is now open in Riyadh," the caption on the museum's Instagram account read in a post co-authored by the footballer himself.
Interactive exhibits in the museum bring to life some of Ronaldo's most memorable games and victories, giving visitors a rare chance to see the many trophies and medals that the soccer legend has amassed—including his five coveted Ballon d'Or awards.
Apart from Riyadh's one-of-a-kind facility, Ronaldo has also been "immortalised" in wax figures all over the world.
One such wax figure is located at Madame Tussauds. Also, a wax replica of Ronaldo was unveiled in Times Square, New York before the 2022 World Cup.
