Wendy's announces big offer for fans
Starting November 8, the fast-food chain will give out six pieces of chicken and not charge a dime
Fast-food chain Wendy's, in a big announcement for fans, said it will now offer free chicken nuggets every Wednesday till the end of this year.
Starting November 8, the fast-food chain will give out six pieces of chicken and not charge a dime for it, but customers will have to make a purchase, a statement from Wendy's said.
"...crack open Wendy's app and find your gift of free six-piece nuggets every Wednesday until the end of the year with purchase with the Wendy's app," the statement said.
Wendy's said that customers can redeem the Wendy's Wednesday offer in-app or online, or scan the digital Wendy's Rewards offer code in the restaurant.
Why the free nuggets?
In the statement, the fast-food chain mentioned that people are looking for the hottest holiday deals, the deal that can't be beaten — "and Wendy's is answering with the hottest gift of the season".
"America's favorite redhead is spreading the holiday spirit and helping fans beat the holiday slump with free chicken nuggets every hump day," it said.
To honour pop singer Taylor Swift, Wendy's also announced a deal to her name. It marked the occasion of the pop singer re-releasing her famous pop album 1989.
The fast food chain offered customers free fries on the occasion.
Swift and Wendy's fans were able to get any brand size of fries as long as they bought a Frostu in small or large size on the fast-food chain's app.
