Lindsay Clancy's parents get extraordinary wave of support amid murder trial

Before Lindsay Clancy stood on the podium for the trial of allegedly murdering her three kids, her parents were living in Connecticut.

But they moved to Massachusetts to support her daughter in court.

Because of this, a GoFundMe page was set up to support them financially.

It was started by Brande Mulligan, a TikToker and an avid supporter of Clancy whose case apparently divided America.

Now, the campaign has hit a milestone: surpassing $1 million in less than two weeks.

Nearly 31,000 people donated to Michael and Paula Musgrove, Clancy's parents, helping drive the extraordinary wave of financial support.

Soon after the fundraiser reached over $1 million, Mulligan became emotional.

In a TikTok she posted, the Clancy supporter said, “We got the family! … We got them. We got them. We got them.”

“We are sending it through GoFundMe right now. Let’s leave this family alone. Let’s just build them up and surround them with love,” she told followers.

The fundraiser, though, is specifically for Clancy's parents. In a message, it clarified the donors do not necessarily have to agree with the accused’s defense or the allegations she was facing.

“For more than three years, Mike and Paula have shown up for Lindsay,” the statement said.

“They have not walked away from their daughter, and they have never been unclear about why: they love her,” the message noted.
