This hue & cry is only in this part of the world other wise there is nothing in U>S> media. Is it not strange. Most people do not know that U.S. is the only country where where any State constitutionally has the right to secede or revolt with out being labelled as traitor. That is why since the United States of America came into being 200 years before no state seceded instead more states (4-5) joined. It is a lesson to the countries of third world.

History repeats itself, first as a tragedy (US Civil War) then as a comedy (Petition to Secede).

What a bunch of nonsense. Zero States have petitioned to secede. However, people claiming to be from all 50 states have signed onto petitions available on a White House website asking that their states be allowed to secede. They can't, of course. We fought a Civil War to establish that. It's settled.

This befouled cesspool called AmeriKa doesnt deserve the blood of those intelligent enough to see it's time to put down this treasonous government. They are MORE THAN WElCOME to take the cowards and fools bad-mouthing secession with them,...PLEASE take them with you, we don't WANT them anymore than we want your traitorous asses stinking up the air around us! SECEDE....SECEDE.....SECEDE!!! Secede or suffer a Bolshevik Revolution right here in AmeriKa...we're thisclose to it at this moment.

Correct. If you have by right the ability to secede, then you need not ask permission, and neither should you ask permission by petition. It only supports the idea that you do not have that right. What a state should do, instead, is bring it as a referendum before the citizens of the state. If it passes, it is enacted. The state is an independent sovereign political body; perhaps it has a relationship similar to Puerto Rico or Guam or the Marshall Islands.

So in other words, there are conservatives in at least twenty states who will throw a big temper tantrum when they don't get their way. It's funny, in an idiotic sort of way, that the people who spent four years saying Obama was destroying America are now filing petitions to do exactly that.
