All political parties invited to Waziristan peace march: Imran
ISLAMABAD: Giving out an open invitation to all the national political parties to join him in his Wazristan Peace March, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Imran Khan, Thursday claimed to make history, Geo News reported.
Speaking at an event, he also warned that President Asif Ali Zardari would be held responsible for any jeopardy to PTI’s march.
“Neither the army nor the Taliban took exception to the peace march. It is only the government, which is road-blocking our rally to be staged against the drone attacks”, said PTI chairman.
Condemning the attacks by the unmanned spy planes on top of military operations, he said these tactics were only giving rise to extremism.
He said Pakistan must step out of America’s war.
“We have lost 40,000 innocent lives fighting for others, a line must be drawn under it right now, otherwise it would be too late”, Imran added.
