Blake Lively is receiving strong backing from her agency as her legal battle with Justin Baldoni heads toward trial despite a major setback in court.

A judge recently dismissed Lively’s ten of 13 sexual harassment claims against Baldoni and executives at Wayfarer Studios. The judge said the case could not proceed due to jurisdiction issues linked to her status as an independent contractor.

However, the case is far from over, with her defamation and retaliation claims still intact and now forming the core of the lawsuit.

With the trial set to begin May 18 in New York, talent agency WME has publicly voiced its support for Lively, praising her for taking a stand.

In a statement, the agency said she has shown “courage” and “determination” in pursuing the case. They lauded the actress for staying focused on accountability despite attempts to turn the situation into a spectacle.

The lawsuit, initially filed in December 2024, accused Baldoni and his production company of misconduct tied to their work on It Ends With Us

The high-profile trial could last up to a month, with both Lively and Baldoni expected to testify. Ryan Reynolds may also take the stand, while other potential witnesses remain unconfirmed.
