Chairman seeks clarification from management regarding Hafeez

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar Khan has asked for a clarification from the team management regarding Muhammad Hafeez's statement following his exclusion from the ICC World Cup 2015.

Hafeez spoke to the media on Thursday, expressing his sorrow and revealed that the decision to exclude him was taken in haste.

He added that his injury was minor and he definitely would have been able to recover in time.

The International Cricket Council’s (ICC) technical committee on February 8 approved Nasir Jamshed as Muhammad Hafeez’s replacement.
