PESHAWAR: The activists of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) from Urmar Bala village of the provincial capital staged protest outside the Press Club on Monday, condemning raid by the station house officer (SHO) of local police for allegedly trampling the sanctity of house of the local PTI leader.
Led by Gohar Shah and others, the protesters chanted slogans against the police officials. They asked the government to take action against the SHO for raiding the home of the party chairman without lady constables and without any justification. They alleged the raiding party took away weapons and gold ornaments.
