PESHAWAR: Jamatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed Sunday said that India was making every effort to disrupt the multi-billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project and for the purpose it was patronising terrorist activities in Pakistan.
Addressing a certificate distribution ceremony at a madrassa here, he said Indian spy agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) had set up a special cell to impede completion of the economic corridor project.
He said that India was well aware of the fact that with the completion of this important project, Pakistan would become a strong country in the South Asia. “India can never see Pakistan as a stable and developed nation and it is patronising terrorist groups in the country to destabilise it,” he added.
He said India was involved in promotion of sectarianism, ethnic violence and bloodshed in the country. He said the successive governments in the country adopted apologetic attitude in response to India’s aggressive designs.
However, the standpoint of the incumbent government, especially that of the prime minister, chief of the army staff and the foreign office is laudable. “It is for the first time that the government has dared to expose the real patron of terrorists - India,” he said.
He stressed the government to expose the Indian face before the world. The government should categorically take up Indian interference in the country with the Indian government. The JuD chief said that the West was actually supporting India for interference in Pakistan. He said the European Union and the UN did not express concern over the Indian involvement in the Karachi tragedy. He said the US was actually backing India for promoting terrorism in the country.
About Kashmir, Hafiz Saeed said the people of Kashmir by waving Pakistan’s flag in Srinagar had proved once again that they wanted accession with Pakistan. He said the Kashmiris wanted the right of self-determination, but India was trying to suppress their voice.
He was of the opinion that the Houthi rebels’ attacks on Najran proved that their actual target was Saudi Arabia. He said that protection of the holy cities was the responsibility of every Muslim.
He said the recent suicide attack in Saudi Arabia was a conspiracy to create chaos and instability inside Saudi Arabia. He said that the Muslim world would have to unite against the evil designs of the enemies of Islam.
Sheik Abdul Aziz Nuristani, Abu Hamid Fazl Rabi, Haji Mohammad Umar, Mian Mohammad Jamil, Abu Saeed, Maulana Abdul Hadi and Mufti Mohammad also spoke on the occasion.
