Rawalpindi: The City District Government Rawalpindi has imposed a ban on the entry of sacrificial animals into city areas.
Under the ban, the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals has been restricted on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
The decision to ban the sale and purchase of sacrificial animals has been imposed to maintain cleanliness and avoid waste pollution in the city.
The Tehsil Municipal Administration spokesman said here Sunday that the TMA intends to constitute teams to confiscate the sacrificial animals. "The squad will not allow cattle in the city," he said.
Meanwhile, sacrificial animals have started arriving in Rawalpindi from far-flung areas to be sold before Eidul Azha.
