An unidentified boy appearing to be around 17 years of age died after a hard ball hit him in the head while playing cricket in Orangi Town.
He was shifted to the Qatar Hospital in a critical condition where he died during treatment.
The family took the body without the completion of medico-legal formalities.
On Friday, a woman committed suicide at her house in Defence after quarrelling with her husband.
Darakhshan police identified the victim as 35-year-old Asia Mumtaz Haider.
She locked herself in one of the rooms of her apartment on Badar Commercial after arguing with her husband and ingested poison.
When her husband broke into the room a few hours later, he found her unconscious and rushed her to a hospital where she passed away.
