SUKKUR: Member of the National Assembly Faryal Talpur has said that there is no likelihood of any change in the composition of the Sindh government. She also said that it was a wrong impression that she had been interfering in the functioning of PPP legislators of the Sindh Assembly.
Talpur said she was just coordinating matters between the party and its legislators in the Sindh Assembly. The MNA said that the MPAs were the servants of the people, and that they should deliver services to the people at their doorsteps.
She expressed these opinions at a gathering at the Sir Shahnawaz Memorial Library in Larkana after the foundation-stone ceremony of a mega-drainage project on Wednesday.Faryal Talpur said that all the MNAs and MPAs of the Pakistan People’s Party must set up camps in their respective constituencies to monitor development schemes.
She stated that the PPP government always served the masses without any discrimination and provided jobs to the educated youth on merit. She said the PPP government was following the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto by providing basic facilities to the masses.
Faryal Talpur said it had been a longstanding demand of Larkana people for mega-development scheme to upgrade the drainage system of Larkana city.To a question about the alleged differences between Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, she said there were no differences between father and son, and that the opponents of the PPP were behind such rumours.
She said she was optimistic Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would very soon be in Pakistan. Replying to another question regarding leasing out of Sambara Inn Larkana to a private party, she refuted all news items in this regard.
“Sambara Inn is our asset, and it cannot be given on lease,” she said.Larkana PPP President Muhammad Ayaz Soomro said on the occasion that Faryal Talpur had given several mega-schemes to Larkana.
