(Non)active taxpayer list

The FBR has failed to update the Active Taxpayer List for the last four months. The bureau had promised to update the list every Sunday.

The update is necessary to stop banks from deducting WHT. I paid income tax for FY2014-15 in NBP on September 8, 2015, but my name has yet to figure in the Active Taxpayer List. Is this because the FBR wants to collect more withholding tax. It seems nobody is there to hold the FBR accountable.
