2nd phase of Khidmat launched

KASUR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Asiya Gul inaugurated the second phase of the program Khidmat Aap Ki Dehleez Par. Under the second phase, the replacement of filters and chlorination of water storage at the water filtration plant were conducted.Kasur Assistant Commissioner (AC) Aurangzeb was also present on the occasion.The DC said the government wanted to facilitate citizens in every way.

MAN DIES IN ROAD ACCIDENT: A man died in a road accident in Chunian city on Monday. Atiq, 30, was crossing the road when a mini-truck hit him, leaving him dead on the spot.

TWO BODIES RECOVERED: Police recovered two bodies on Monday. Khadian police was informed about a body of a 40-year-man floating in canal near Al-Falah Colony.Meanwhile, Allahabad police recovered a body Hashim, 70, from a truck near Kunganpur bypass.The police shifted the bodies to hospital for postmortem.

TWO MINORS ABDUCTED: A minor boy and girl were abducted in two separate incidents in Kasur. Accused Kamran Sultan kidnapped Maniha’s daughter near Bekpur, Khudian. In Allahabad, kidnappers abducted 14-year-old Faisal, the son of Niyamt Ali. Police registered separate cases.

LABOURER ELECTROCUTED: A labourer was electrocuted while setting up a tent near Jhedo Chak 36 near Patoki sadr. Ghulam Mustafa was erecting a tent when a pole hit electricity wires and he suffered a fatal shock.
