Man awarded death sentence

Rawalpindi : The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rawalpindi Sadat Hussain Malik here on Wednesday awarded death sentence to a man in a murder case.
The court awarded death sentence to Muhammad Shafaat on charges of killing Sajjad Ahmed. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs500,000 and directed to pay the fine immediately.
Jatli Police Station registered the case against Muhammad Shafqat on murder charges in 2006. The police arrested him after a long time of 15 years on September 24, 2020.
