King Charles has invited Princess Beatrice, Eugenie to Royal Ascot
King Charles extends olive branch for Princess Beatrice, Eugenie
King Charles has reportedly invited Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie for future royal gatherings.
The sisters, who have made separate plans from the Royal Family on Easter, are told to join His Majesty for the Royal Ascot service, reports The Sun.
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s mistreatment by the Royal Family comes under scrutiny.
The York sisters, who have announced they will step back from the Royal Family’s Easter celebrations this year, are slowly being driven out of spotlight.
Speaking about the Princesses, Royal expert Alicia Liberty writes for Express: “On paper, it all sounds perfectly civil. A mutual agreement. A diary clash. Nothing to see here.”
“Except, let’s be honest - it doesn’t quite pass the smell test. Because this isn’t just about Easter plans. It’s about optics. And more specifically, it’s about who gets quietly edged out of the picture when things get uncomfortable,” she added.
“They are the daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson - yes. But they are also two women who have spent years carving out their own identities, largely without scandal, largely without fuss, and largely without asking for the spotlight.
She notes: “To see them quietly frozen out of their own family, with their children missing out on time with their cousins, feels undeniably sad.”
