Queen Elizabeth II believed shamed Andrew ‘did not behave improperly’
Queen Elizabeth II could not fathom the damage done by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor
Queen Elizabeth II faced a lot of distress due to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor in her final years.
Her Majesty, who passed away in 2022, did not believe her second son was involved in sex trafficking with financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Her feelings as a mother are laid bare by author Hugo Vickers in his new book.
He notes: "Despite his car-crash interview on Newsnight, and other apparent revelations, the Queen did not believe he had behaved improperly. It is fortunate that she did not live to witness the denouement."
I’m book titled ‘Queen Elizabeth II,’ the author continues: "Andrew’s problems caused the Queen considerable distress in the last years of her life. She was deeply concerned about his future. One idea, developed in the last year of her life, was to set up a foundation that Andrew could administer."

Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is told to lay low amid disaster of a scandal.
The former Duke of York, who has exited the Royal Lodge amid intense pressure from the public over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, is told to clean the place.
