The participants discussed the minutes of the Finance and Planning Committee. The participants also decided not to increase fees of students. They also decided to give 40% discount to students in fee at hostels because they did not use electricity and generators due to the corona pandemic in the premises.
Also, a decision was taken to provide all the university students the free-of-cost provision of Turnitin software, which is used to check plagiarism in research.
A task force committee was also reorganised, with an aim to solve the financial issues of the university on long-term basis. The meeting did not discuss the Higher Education Department’s letter regarding reforms, as the said letter had been held in abeyance by the provincial government recently.
