PRCS organises simulation exercise in Bajaur
KHAR: Pakistan Red Crescent Society, Bajaur branch, organised simulation exercise at Raghagon Dam.
Personnel of Rescue 1122, Civil Defence, Al-Khidmat and PRCS staff and volunteers participated in large numbers.
The purpose of the activity was to prepare for any unforeseen situation and respond through an integrated approach during a disaster. Different demos were carried out, including Search and Rescue, Evacuation, First-Aid, Camp Establishment and distribution of food items among the affected communities were carried out.
On the occasion, PRCS District Secretary Tariq Zaman explained the importance of joint simulation exercises and thanked all participants for their participation.
Overall, the activity was led by District Program Officer PRCS Bajaur branch Javid Iqbal. He guided all participants before the start of activity to follow instructions and discipline of each demo to make it successful.
