Parliamentary Party has thanked Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah for donating N-95 masks and aid goods to the province which was received from China. The meeting lauded leadership role of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and paid tribute to exemplary role of Sindh government to combat Covid-19.

At the meeting, through the resolution, Dr Osama was saluted, a martyr who sacrificed his life while fighting corona; the parliamentary party prayed for the early recovery of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, and appealed to Sindh government to help the people of Punjab to deal with Corona.

Syed Hassan Murtaza said the parliamentary party has decided to support every move of the Punjab government against Corona, after the 18th Amendment, provinces are independent, he urged Punjab government should give relief package to the people of Punjab itself.

The PPP leader demanded deputy commissioners across Punjab take on board opposition members in relief work and distribution of rations, and the government must ensure the availability of hand sanitizer and masks in the market.

He rejected federal government's coronavirus economic package while terming it grossly insufficient and vague. Imran Khan must explain how a family could survive with Rs 3000? He demanded Rs 18,000 each for poor families amid the outbreak.

How the 3 million people who were announced to receive the aid were determined, he asked. While condemning negative attitude of Imran Khan, the parliamentary party observed PM is the biggest obstacle in national solidarity to deal with Corona. Imran Niazi’s departure in half from the meeting of parliamentary heads is undemocratic and un-parliamentary, federal government spokespersons are constantly dividing the nation, said Hassan Murtaza.
