The National Highways and Motorway Police have launched a safe driving campaign throughout Pakistan, as part of which special stalls dedicated to road safety awareness have been set up at Toll Plaza.
As part of the campaign, motorway police officers interacted with drivers and spoke on the importance of safety measures such as seat belts, helmets, driving in proper lanes and observing speed limits, read a press statement issued on Tuesday.
Mobile education units of the motorway police visited bus and truck stands, petrol pumps and hotels along the Super Highway to deliver multimedia presentations for truckers and motorists.
DIG Motorway Police South Zone Dr Waliullah and SP Motorway Amjad Rauf supervised the campaign.
