Keith Urban takes extreme measures to not 'air dirty laundry' post-Nicole Kidman divorce
Keith Urban is determined to save his relationship from public scrutiny following his divorce from Nicole Kidman
Keith Urban has reportedly made some non-negotiable rules before starting a new life after his divorce from Nicole Kidman.
Per Radar Online, the 58-year-old Australian-American country singer and songwriter has made up his mind to keep his new romance secret, as he does not want his relationship to be a topic of discussion.
An insider told the outlet, "Keith has always been private, but now that he's going through this divorce, he's extra secretive. He wants to sow his wild oats and enjoy himself, but the last thing he needs is for that to get out."
To save himself from public scrutiny and any women he plans to start a new life with, Urban will make her sign a detailed and strict nondisclosure agreement (NDA), the source claimed.
"He also won't meet anyone out in public – they have to be willing to come over. He admits that having these rules for his love life makes things more complicated, but for now at least, that's the only way this will work for him because he just can't handle the judgment he's been getting," they stated.
The Somebody Like You crooner adamantly believes the widespread criticism from the public against him was clearly unjust because they are not aware of his side of the story after his separation from Kidman after 19 years of marriage, which was finalized on January 6, 2026.
Notably, Urban, who shares two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, with the Big Little Lies actress, has no doubts about the fact that if people had listened to his story as well, they would have definitely supported him.
"He said he doesn't want to air his and Nicole's dirty laundry. He wants to keep things as amicable as he can for the sake of his daughters, so he's going to keep his lips sealed and do his level best to keep his private life under lock and key,” concluded the insider.
