Attack on Bajaur checkpost repulsed

KHAR: The security forces repulsed an attack on the Nawa Pass security checkpost in Chamarkand tehsil of Bajaur Agency, official sources said on Tuesday. They said the militants based in Kunar province of Afghanistan attacked the Nawa Pass security checkpost early in the day.They said that the personnel of the security forces returned the fire and forced the militants to escape. However, there were no reports about any casualty in the attack.
